Our Story

Every evening, I found myself juggling a stack of essentials: water, remotes, phone, creams, glasses, books, sleep aids and more amid a cluttered nightstand. My routine was often interrupted by spills or stumbles in the dark, and my drawers overflowed with the “little things” I needed close at hand. Like so many, I was grateful for my gadgets and electronic conveniences but really, five remotes (smart tv-2 remotes, ceiling fan, blinds, adjustable bed)? Frustrated by my lack of space and the number of times I rolled over on my reading glasses, a solution had to be found.

When I dropped my son off at college, we saw how students’ limited space caused them to struggle even more. Some of the Twin XL dorm beds were elevated so organizing a routine to charge their phone near their bed, balance books, electronics, and late-night necessities with no nightstand, was going to be even harder. This is when we put our creative minds to work.

The Innovation

I gathered our creative friends and family, sat down at the sewing machine, and began the creation of Nest and Nooks Bedding: the first-ever fitted sheets thoughtfully designed with built-in storage.
